Michael: Last week we talked a little about business insurance. Do you have anything to add to that?
Scott: A couple other kinds of commercial insurance that are really important now are EPLI—employment practice and liability insurance. That covers wrongful dismissal, sexual harassment, discrimination, and what you’re really buying there is defense costs, because there are a lot of fraudulent claims, but you still have to hire a lawyer and go defend yourself. Most businesses don’t think about that! Even if they do everything right, they still have to defend themselves if someone files a claim against them.
